“Absentee Ballots Available” – for the November 2, 2010 General Election.

Absentee Ballots will be available from the County Auditor’s Office beginning September 17, 2010. Eligible voters who reasonably expect to be unable to go to their polling place on election day to vote may obtain ballots by mailing a completed absentee ballot application form to the County Auditor’s Office, P.O. Box 171, Gaylord, Minnesota 55334 (telephone 507-237-4070), or by applying in person at the County Auditor’s Office.

Voters applying in person may receive and cast their ballots at the County Auditor’s Office. The County Auditor’s Office regular business hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. – Monday through Friday.

In addition, the County Auditor’s Office will be open during the following extra hours for the exclusive purpose of accepting absentee applications and the casting of absentee ballots (M.S. 203B.085):

Saturday, October 30, 2010
10:00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m.

Monday, November 1, 2010
4:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
