3 on 3 basketball tourney designed to boost positive relationships


The 3 on 3 basketball tournament last week was a big success. I believe that we accomplished what it was meant for and that was to encourage healthy relationships.

I think that the adults who took part really made an impact on the lives of the teenagers who played with them.

First Place Winners were “The Flying Squirrels:” Doug Flieth, Justin Rettmann, and Ian Berg. 2nd Place Winners were “Butterflies:” Mitch Setterman, Robert Harter and Seth Grabow. 3rd Place winners were: “Wakefield Pork” Brent Roiger, Nick Peters and Justin Sandmann. Congratulations!

Thank You to all that participated… The Sheriff’s Dept. – Bill Jensen, Pat Nienaber, Aaron Louwagie; Dale Roiger; the staff at Sibley East: Steve Harter, Doug Flieth, Stephanie Shultz, Holly Vos, Heidi Carpenter, Mike Feterl, Travis Raske and all the kids from Sibley East Senior and Junior High schools.
