Former Sibley East Wolverine Jordan Berg threw for one touchdown and ran for another last Thursday helping Augsburg defeat Hamline 28-17 at the Metrodome.
Berg was 34 of 45 passing for nearly 350 yards. He had a 20-yard touchdown pass. A seven yard touchdown run by Berg gave Augsburg a 14-10 advantage.
A transfer from University of Minnesota-Duluth, Berg produced some impressive passing statistics in his first season at Augsburg.
In ten games, Berg completed 208 passes on 349 attempts. Both of those numbers are second most in Augsburg history. Berg threw for a total of 2,107 yards. That is the school’s fourth best mark.
Augsburg posted a 1-9 record this season.
